Losing the people and things we like and dealing with unwanted changes is a part of life, but can sometimes feel painful. We tend to believe that relationships, jobs, possessions and other external things alone will give us the lasting pleasure, comfort and security we crave, but in the end, they can never do this. Through meditation we can develop a mental resilience that will keep us happy and peaceful in even the most challenging circumstances.
