Labor Day Weekend Away Retreat
Healing Ourself and Others
The Magical Practice of Taking and Giving
Take a break from your busy daily life and join us for a weekend of meditation and relaxation! If you have experience with breathing meditation, you may be familiar with the peace it can evoke in your mind. The magical practice of taking and giving is much more powerful. It purifies our mind on a deep level, quickly accumulates a wealth of positive energy in our heart, and gives us a strong mind that can bear adversity with courage.
In this special retreat, the four Resident Teachers of the Midwest Kadampa Meditation Centers will guide a series of meditations to give you confidence in the practice of taking and giving and to take you deeper. Going away to a retreat like this can be a deeply transformative experience, and it will also prepare you to continue your practice of taking and giving in your daily life.
This retreat is open to both beginner and experienced meditators. Everyone welcome!
