Jan. 19: Letting Go of Anger
Why do we need to let go of our anger? Anger is the most destructive of all negative minds. It’s only function is to destroy our inner peace and happiness and impels us to engage in actions that will cause future suffering.
Feb. 9: Dealing with Difficult People
Since we cannot avoid difficult people or situations we learn to identify and develop specials attitudes and mental skills to protect us from being upset, irritated or hurt by other people. Otherwise, we can only resort to anger, retaliation, withdrawal or hardening our heart.=
March 15: Peace in the Midst of Uncertainty
Difficult and even crisis situations can reveal Buddha’s teaching on the truth of uncertainty. By allowing ourself to recognize this truth, we redirect our focus from helplessness and instead towards accomplishing an authentic and therefore truly stable and lasting happiness.
April 12: Forgiveness: Moving Beyond Pain and Guilt
Forgiveness is a strong and courageous mind that frees us from unnecessary pain. Unfortunately, we tend to misunderstand its real nature and hold onto past hurt thereby causing the hurt to continue into the present.
