Meditation to Create a Peaceful World
To Celebrate International Temples Day
Buddhism has a simple but profound message: since all problems in the world originate in the mind, the solutions to these problems and the causes of lasting peace and happiness are also found within the mind.
It is only by developing inner peace that we can solve our own problems and help others do the same, and in this way create world peace.
REGISTER TO ATTEND:
The first Saturday of November is International Temples Day. To celebrate, join us Saturday, November 6 from 1:30-2:30 PM for a guided meditation to help us connect with and become familiar with our own inner peace. After the meditation, we will watch an inspiring video that shows how the International temples Project is working to bring world peace through creating the conditions for people to develop inner peace. Afterward, we will have snacks and refreshments and a chance to tour our beautiful center and connect with our community. Everyone welcome!
