Monday Nights: Advice We Need Right Now
Is it possible to remain hopeful when our world is overrun with so much pain, injustice, sickness, poverty? Yes. It is not only possible, it is essential. According to Buddha, we cannot uproot the causes of the world’s dilemmas until we have uprooted our own negative minds and ripened our potential for authentic and stable happiness. If we are to help others activate their potential we first need to activate our own.
In this series of talks and guided meditations, Gen Kelsang Gomlam will show us how we can tap into peaceful and positive minds and maintain that experience all the time. In particular, we will learn how we can even transform painful experiences into minds that increase our inner peace and happiness. Of course, this requires training. But what better thing to train in, for both ourself, all our relationships, and our world?
