Stages of the Path to Real Happiness

Mirror of Dharma Lamrim Retreat

The retreat will focus on 15 meditations as presented in Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s latest book, The Mirror of Dharma. Lamrim, or Stages of the Path to Enlightenment, is a special condensation of all of Buddha’s teachings. Arranged in the sequence in which they are to be realized, these meditations guide people along the path by developing their inner peace, compassion and wisdom. Steeped in Buddhist wisdom and arising from Venerable Geshe-la’s deep personal experience in retreat, these meditations are perfectly suited for modern life – helping us to build a foundation of inner strength within our busy and often stressful lives.

This retreat is open to everyone and is ideal for those looking for an inspiring, enjoyable, and practical explanation of Buddhist meditation and philosophy presented in a very gentle and accessible format.

The retreat sessions include instruction, guided meditation and special preliminary  practices in the form of chanted prayers. In between sessions there is time to rest and relax in the peaceful meditation space and community room sitting areas. Join us in person or online. Everyone welcome!
