Three Principal Aspects of the Path (Lamrim)

One of the clearest presentations of the path to enlightenment is a legendary, short poem called, The Three Principal Aspects of the Path. It was composed 600 years ago by the extraordinary Spiritual Guide and Buddhist Master Je Tsongkhapa, the founder of the New Kadampa Lineage. It is advice from his heart to the people of the modern world on how to take the real meaning of our human life by practicing three essential meditations; renunciation, bodhichitta, and the correct view of emptiness. These three meditations are a condensation of all of the Stages Of The Path to Enlightenment and are the only methods to stop our suffering and problems forever.

The commentary is based on the oral instructions,The Mirror of Dharma with Additions by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

Each session will include a short teaching, guided meditation and Heart Jewel as the essential preliminary prayers. This is an intermediate level retreat, but everyone is welcome.
