Overcoming Craving and Addiction: A Buddhist Perspective

Friday, October 16  7:00-8:30 PM

With Gen Kelsang Gomlam

Everyone experiences the pain associated with craving and attachment, and many people suffer from some type of addiction. Whether we struggle with food, drugs, social media, relationships or any form of addictive behavior, this Friday Night Lecture will help us gain insight into the pervasive and painful mental habits of craving ,attachment, and addiction.

Through exploring Buddha’s profound teachings and meditations we can learn how to overcome compulsive ways of thinking and acting that compel us to seek happiness from deceptive sources. In this way, we can gradually gain freedom from these strong mental habits and find true satisfaction and fulfillment in our lives.

This Friday Night Lecture is Part 1 of our special October Series. Please feel welcome to attend the Part 2 Workshop: Happiness from the Inside Out on October 26 from 10 AM- 1 PM.
