Although the term Tantra is very popular these days, many people misunderstand its real meaning and it is often misused. In Buddhism, Tantra is a very special practice that harnesses the power of our imagination and the power of Buddha’s blessings to quickly heal our mental continuum and leads us to a state of permanent peace and happiness.
Buddha gave many teachings to help living beings achieve both temporary and permanent peace. His Tantric teachings in particular are methods that guide us through inner transformation and the experience of deep inner peace. By understanding these teachings, putting them into practice, and receiving blessings, we can develop both our wisdom and our compassion until it produces a bliss so powerful that it completely purifies our mind and we quickly attain enlightenment.
This class is offered to everyone and is also a wonderful preparation for those interested in attending the International Fall Festival in Brazil, where Highest Yoga Tantra empowerments and commentaries will be offered.

What is our “pure potential”? It is our potential for the permanent peace of liberation and enlightenment – which is the limitless potential for peace, love, compassion, kindness, and happiness. Our essential nature, our Buddha nature, is pure gold. Indestructible and eternal, it is the ground in which we need to root our sense of self in order to flourish. This workshop is a stand alone class but it can be considered a preparation for the Kadampa International Fall Festival whether you are attending in person or online.
Each and every living being has within them the seed, or potential, to become a Buddha, a fully enlightened being – this is our Buddha nature. In Buddha’s teachings we have found the best method to ripen this seed, or potential.”
