“Cherishing our neighbors and the people in our local area will naturally lead to harmony in the community and society at large, and this will make everyone happier.” – Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
One of the main functions of Kadampa Meditation Center Madison is to serve the public. Providing public services to bring lasting peace to others is at the forefront of Kadampa Buddhism. Without inner peace, outer peace and happiness is impossible. We work with school, community groups, with businesses and in healthcare introducing contemporary Buddhist practices and meditation techniques to bring benefit in these different environments.
