UNPLUG! A Day of Silent Retreat

Unplug for a day of silence at Kadampa Meditation Center Madison and enjoy refreshing your body and mind with a guided meditation retreat.

Discover the real freedom to be found in a calm and quiet mind; escape the busyness of daily life; gain a deeper level of relaxation. During this day retreat, we can learn how to incorporate meditation into our busy lives and gain confidence in its effectiveness to create inner peace within ourselves and improve our relationships with others.

We will have 4 sessions of guided meditation. The break times and lunch will be silent throughout the center and there is space for you to take time to relax with a book or a cup of tea. Participants are encouraged to take a day out of their busy lives by switching off their devices so as to make the most of the time to rest and reflect.
