Courses and Events
Throughout the year, there are many opportunities to enhance our practice by engaging in Friday Night Lectures, Saturday Half-Day Courses, retreats, or special events with guest teachers. Our courses and events are suitable for everyone, regardless if you are new to meditation, or have been practicing for a while. With teachings on practical Buddhist philosophy and guided meditations, these events provide a welcome break from our busy lives, and leave us feeling refreshed and energized. Following Buddha’s special advice, we can relax our mind and become of greater benefit to others.
In addition to local courses and events, Kadampa Festivals and Dharma Celebrations provide a wonderful opportunity to meet with Buddhist practitioners from across the Midwest, United States, and world to share experience and understanding with them.
